New Vehicle Payment

You can now use your £750 New Vehicle Payment towards your next car!

Are you or someone you care for, in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, (DLA) Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)? With rising energy and fuel prices and other everyday living costs increasing, Motability have introduced a £750 ‘New vehicle payment’, which you are eligible for when you order your next Motability car.

As of April 2023, you now have the option to send this directly to us, to help towards your Advance Payment. This is instead of getting the New Vehicle Payment after you’ve picked up your new car.

If your advanced payment is MORE than £750

You’ll need to pay the difference between the New Vehicle Payment and your Advance Payment when you get your new vehicle.

If your advanced payment is LESS than £750

Motability will send the difference to you within a week or two of you getting your new vehicle.
