We are hiring an Experienced Valeter

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9am- 5.30pm

LOCATION: Pat Kirk Ltd, Omagh

As part of our growing team we are currently seeking to recruit a Car Valeter to join our fast paced Omagh Dealership.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our valeting team and will be responsible cleaning new and used cars to a very high standard for retail presentation and delivery to customers.

This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has meticulous attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.

KEY DUTIES:

• The successful candidate will ideally have experience of valeting cars; washing cars using a pressure washer, polishing, gel plastics, vacuuming and shampooing vehicle interiors, cleaning glass and black tyres to a high standard
• Cleaning sold vehicles to a high dealer standard
• Cleaning and presentation of cars on-site and forecourt
• Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork
• Collecting and moving vehicles as required
• Working to set timeframes and targets
• Identifying and highlighting any vehicle faults or problems to management
• You’ll be someone who takes great pride in their work, taking care to maintain and secure all equipment such as jet washers and other materials used
• Other duties to support the branch as required

PERSON REQUIREMENTS:

Preference will be given to those candidates who have previous experience in a similar role, and the successful candidate should;

• Have an excellent eye for detail
• Have experience in the use of machine spin polishing
• Have the ability to work on their own initiative but also as part of a team
• Have a friendly and professional manner
• Have excellent time keeping
• Be willing to both learn and teach methods of valeting
• Have Good communication skills
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
